Nevs (National Electric Vehicles Sweden) grundades 2012 av Kai Johan Jiang och köpte samma år Saab Automobiles konkursbo. Har sedan dess haft en stundtals skakig ekonomisk resa. I början av 2019 klev den kinesiska jättekoncernen Evergrande in som ny majoritetsägare vilket innebär en finansiell trygghet för Nevs.
